Under its Memorandum of Association, the Company is duly registered and authorised to carry on, among others, the following classes of business:
• Haulage, freight forwarding, warehousing, cargo consolidation, courier services, supply chain management, fleet management, logistics consultancy, distribution and integrated logistics solutions for individuals, corporate bodies and government agencies.
• Sea, coastal, inland waterway, air and land transportation of passengers, cargo, petroleum products, liquefied natural gas, solid minerals, agricultural produce, containers and heavy equipment, including the ownership, leasing, chartering, operation and management of vessels, barges, boats, trucks, trailers, rail wagons and aircraft.
• Maritime services, shipping, ship management, ship brokerage, ship agency, ship chandelling, vessel chartering, marine support services, offshore logistics, dredging, towage, salvage and other marine and inland water transportation activities.
• Exploration, drilling, production, refining, processing, storage, marketing, importation, exportation, transportation, distribution and sale of crude oil, natural gas, petroleum products, petrochemicals and other hydrocarbons, together with technical, engineering and support services to the oil and gas industry.
• Exploration, mining, quarrying, extraction, processing, transportation, purchase, sale, importation and exportation of solid minerals including limestone, granite, gold, lithium, coal, tin, iron ore, lead, zinc, gypsum, barite and bitumen, subject to the requisite regulatory approvals.
• General contracting, including construction, engineering, procurement, installation, maintenance, project management and infrastructure development for public and private sector organisations.
• Acquisition, by purchase, lease or concession, of land, buildings, plants, factories, warehouses, depots, vessels, vehicles, machinery and equipment, and the establishment of branches, depots, terminals, jetties and ports necessary for the Company’s objects.
FLEET AND OPERATIONAL CAPACITY
Impetus Marine and Logistics Limited currently deploys a fleet of 100 (one hundred) tipping trucks in active service across its haulage and logistics operations. This substantial trucking capacity positions the Company as a significant player in Nigeria’s inland haulage and bulk materials transportation space, enabling it to service large-volume,
time-sensitive contracts for industrial and construction clients.
All 100 units are operational and available now, meaning prospective clients can onboard immediately, without waiting on fleet procurement or ramp-up, to move cargo at scale from day one. The fleet supports the movement of bulk commodities, construction aggregates, industrial minerals and general cargo, and forms the operational backbone of the Company’s land-based logistics offering, complementing its broader ambitions in marine transportation and offshore support services.
